It has been fifty degrees and raining. ALL DADBURN DAY! I know I should not complain but I am finally just weary of this blah weather. I am ready for spring, sunshine, budding trees, camping trips, roadtrips, the sun on my face, the feel of my garden soil between my toes, the smell of Seven dust and yes I am even ready to battle the annual ant invasion if that means it is warm outside (yet another reason I am excited to be looking for a house).
I mean to post more often and would really love to use my pictures to help relay what I can't always put into words. But every layout that I choose cuts the picture off, see below. Stef or any other computer genus (as Bill says gee-nus) if you know something I could do differently please let me know??
Until then I will use my pictures, please excuse the parts that are half cut off. I meant well :)
On to my story of the day. I purchased a caramel apple making kit at Cracker Barrel sometime last fall (don't ask why I haven't already used it, I guess I was just saving it!). It has been sitting out in the open on some shelves in my kitchen. Every single solitary time that Gage walks by them he says "Mmm SPRINKLES, lets make these Appie!!!" Finally I caved, I mean what are Aunts for? So I promised him I would buy some apples this month and we'd make them. Well he was in absolute heaven today cuz his wish finally came true. I am feeling guilty tonight though because I meant to save their leftovers for tomorrow, mine included, but they were on the counter when I was handling some bacon and some drips got on the plates and I threw them away. OWCH! I wish I had a caramel apple right now, boo hoo. Might have to make another run to the Cracker Barrel soon. I feel so terrible now, I can only hope they have forgot before tomorrow rolls around.

"Hi Appie, look at all them sprinkles, I live for sprinkles you know!"

"Are you done taking pictures, because I can't keep my hands off the sprinkles."

"It is so heavy Appie! Mmm this is yummy."
