Almost Summer!

I'm glad when it is warm and the sun is shining at my house. Lately it hasn't been much. Then Gage went and gave me his cold, and of course I shared it with Bill. Kinda makes things blah and crummy. I try to enjoy the weather no matter what, but eventually it gets hard.

I am glad my cousin Robin is doing better, if she was acting crazy I wouldn't have known it! We all act crazy anyway! Seriously though, stay on that medicine woman! Oh and just wanted to give Robin a kudo's...today I was making some frosting for a cake, I got it too thin and remembered Robins trick of putting shortening in. I used it and it worked!! Although if I'd had more powdered sugar I would have used it, but I was all out! There is probably another way of thickening it, but I had two three year olds and one five year old staring down my neck waiting on that blessed cake. So this would have to do! Oh and they L O V E D it. Of course, what kid doesn't love cake and icing?
